Building on a Strong Foundation Since 1963
Smarrelli General Contractor, Inc. was founded in 1963 by Edward Smarrelli with a commitment to quality workmanship, dependable service, and strong relationships within the Richmond community.
For more than six decades, that commitment has remained at the heart of the company. As a family-owned, open-shop contractor operating year-round, Smarrelli has built a reputation for completing construction projects with careful planning, quality craftsmanship, responsible budgeting, and dependable scheduling.
Today, we continue to serve commercial, industrial, and residential clients throughout Richmond, Indiana and the surrounding area while carrying forward the values and reputation established by the generations before us.
Decades of Experience. Generations of Leadership.
As Smarrelli General Contractor continued to grow, its leadership team expanded in 1989 with Brad Smarrelli serving as President, Steve Shute as General Manager, and Cindy Spears as Office Manager.
Together, this management team helped grow the company significantly while strengthening its reputation as a trusted local contractor. Their leadership focused on a straightforward standard: deliver quality construction, stay mindful of the budget, and complete projects in a timely and professional manner.
That foundation helped Smarrelli become a recognized name throughout the Richmond area for dependable construction and long-term customer relationships.
